PhD Candidate in Physics • G4CMP Expert
Building high-performance quantum simulation software. Currently extending G4CMP with new capabilities to model and predict qubit decoherence for scalable quantum computers.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in 2023 with four majors: Software Development (Computer Science), Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics.
I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Physics at Texas A&M University (expected 2028) in the Toback Research Group. My goal is to join Google Quantum AI as a Software Engineer or Research Scientist, focusing on quantum simulation software and tools that make quantum computers practical and scalable.
I love writing code that bridges physics and high-performance computing — especially simulations that help design better quantum hardware.
I am becoming the go-to expert on G4CMP — an open-source extension to the Geant4 toolkit that simulates phonon and charge transport in cryogenic semiconductor crystals.
This software is used worldwide for modeling low-temperature quantum devices and superconducting circuits. I work directly with the development team and have been selected to lead major enhancements.
For my PhD I am extending G4CMP with new capabilities to detect and predict decoherence in qubits — one of the biggest challenges in building large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers.
